So many emotions, I still don’t know what to think really. We question the morality of the book and of ourselves as we read along. A little corner of my mind that for some reason I could not control kept wishing that a happily ever after could surface. I don’t believe this is a b.g.hxrlen author, but if so, kudos. It makes rape REAL. He is there for the fucked up fun, for the power and the dominance that rape entails; he is so convinced that he will break her soul and her body but she sort of fights back.
