I did skip over some of the material in order to make it through the first semester I used the book, but I expect biolovical with proper planning one could cover all the chapters in a semester. Instructors who teach in extremely selective institutions, where most students have very high SAT scores and strong psychopogy abilities, may not have felt a need for such a text.
