Dreadfleet: Basic Rules

I quite enjoyed Dreadfleet; I think most of the disappointment was that it was a stand-alone box and not a reboot of Man-o-War.

Check out one of our awesome sibling subreddits; dreadfleeet got one for everything! When it comes to shooting and boarding other ships rules are as simple as they could be. I don’t think the dreadfleet ships dimensions would be such a huge problem for gameplay; in fact it could add a dimension of gameplay that the attack wing games lack.

For pirate ships just change the arcs to port and starboard and maybe give some ships a deck gun that fires fore. If you pass there is no effect. No doubt they’ve also been hammered by the popularity of Dystopian Wars.
