I run a diverse holding company and at times perform healthcare consulting and have had the pleasure to see many healthcare systems from the inside out. We ve all looked back on challenges we ve faced whether they involved a boss, a coworker, or a customer and thought, If I knew then what I know now, I would have handled that in a completely different way!

There are situations discussed that routinely take hadwiring in healthcare but probably are to are prevalent in other settings, although the lesson can be applied to other careers and vocations as well. The dividends those deposits make hardwirihg enormous. At its core, it’s a book about engaging employees and improving the experience for the customer. For many who work in health care, overwhelming business pressures and perceived barriers to change have nearly extinguished the flame of their passion to help others. Thank you Mr Studer for writing an inspiring and positive book. Take the time to ask your employees what works well and what doesn’t work well i. It is not what I call an enjoyable book, you hear a lot of things that sound like it is harwiring to be a lot of work, but after hearing it, I can see why my management is doing some of the things that they are doing.
